Copy the YouTube link
Open the video in YouTube and copy the URL from the address bar, or use the Share button. Watch pages, Shorts and youtu.be links all work.

Paste it into BossyScript
Open BossyScript, keep the Link tab selected and paste the URL. If you are not signed in yet, sign in with Google — it is free and no card is needed.

What you can transcribe from YouTube
Public videos, including Shorts and youtu.be links. Private, removed or age-restricted videos may be unavailable, and BossyScript only processes content the platform allows it to access.
How accurate is the transcript?
Accuracy depends on audio quality, background noise and how clearly people speak. Names, technical terms and strong accents are the usual places to check. The editor lets you correct anything before you export.

Yes. Shorts use the same public video link format and work like any other YouTube video.
Do I need to download the video first?

Is there a length limit?
YouTube links are processed by the transcript service without a strict duration limit, but the free plan allows 3 successful transcripts per day.
