The service

BossyScript turns audio, video, and supported public links into editable text. Supported sources today are uploaded audio/video files, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and X (Twitter).

The product is a personal SaaS. Shared accounts, resale, and wrapping BossyScript as someone else's API are not allowed.

Accounts

You sign in with Google. We store the Google subject, email, name, and optional avatar needed to identify you. We do not store Google access or refresh tokens.

You must keep your account to yourself. We may block an account that is abused, shared, or used to break these terms.

Plans and limits

Free includes three successful transcriptions per calendar day in your timezone, up to 30 minutes per item, and one unfinished job at a time.

Unlimited is $20 per month or $120 per year, billed by Paddle. Unlimited removes the daily cap for one person and allows up to 10 unfinished jobs, including batch file upload.

Launch processing limits are 2 hours and 200 MiB per item. Those are technical limits of the transcription layer, not a monthly quota.

Your content

You keep the rights to material you submit and to the transcript we produce for you. You must have the right to transcribe the file or public link you send.

We store the transcript privately so you can edit and export it. Input media is not kept by BossyScript after the transcription service accepts the job.

Availability

Jobs are durable: closing the browser does not cancel processing. Status can still fail when a source is private, unsupported, too long, or when the transcription layer cannot complete the job. Failed jobs do not consume Free daily usage.

Ending access

You can cancel a paid subscription in the Paddle customer portal. You can export your data and delete your account from Settings. Deletion removes transcripts and anonymizes the profile; payment records stay under a pseudonymous id where the law requires it.
