Video to text β€” MP4, MOV & WebM transcription

Go from a local recording to a written document without manually typing every line. BossyScript transcribes the audio in your video, then gives you a private editor to review the wording and export the result.

Put your transcript to work

Create notes from a presentation, review an interview or turn your own recorded tutorial into a written guide. Transcription captures spoken content; it does not describe the visuals or generate a subtitle file.

LESS REPLAYING. MORE CREATING.

COMMON QUESTIONS

FAQ

Everything you need to know before you start.

Which links or files can I use?

Upload MP4, MOV, WebM, MPEG, WMV and other supported video files with an audio track. Free allows recordings up to 30 minutes; the launch technical limit is 200 MiB. Unlimited supports recordings up to 2 hours.

Can I transcribe for free?

Yes. Free includes 3 successful transcriptions per day, up to 30 minutes each, with editing and TXT, DOCX and PDF exports. Unlimited is $20 a month or $120 a year.

Can I edit and download the result?

Yes. Open your transcript in the editor, correct any names or wording, then copy the text or download the latest revision as TXT, DOCX or PDF. Always review important quotes against the recording.

Is my transcript public?

No. Transcripts belong to your signed-in account and are retained for 30 days by default. Download a copy before that period ends, or delete the transcript earlier from your history.

Why might a link fail?

The recording must be accessible and contain speech. Private, removed, region-restricted or login-only content may be unavailable. If you have permission and a local copy, try uploading the file instead.
